Dr. Matthew Rizai

Matt Rizai is a Managing Director of Web Filings LLC, a software company headquartered in Mountain View, California. Matt serves on the Board of Directors of Stafford Development Company, a diversified services company headquartered in Tifton, Georgia. He also serves on the Advisory Board of 10X Technologies, a microfabrication technology company headquartered in Libertyville, Illinois.

Matt was the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Engineering Animation, Inc. (EAI) from June 1990 until October 2000. EAI is a leader in Internet-enabled visual process management, collaboration, analysis and communication solutions for extended manufacturing enterprises. Under Matt’s leadership, the company went public in February 1996. EAI was acquired in October 2000 for $205 million by Unigraphics Solutions (now known as UGS, Inc.).

Prior to EAI, Matt was an analyst at ARCH Development Corporation, a senior research engineer at General Motors Corp., and a development engineer at Ford Motor Co. Matt also co-founded Computer Aided Design Software, Inc. in 1983.

Matt earned a doctorate in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from The University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business.
