Gina Cocking’s Cover Article in Agent Entrepreneur Magazine

Colonnade’s Managing Director and CEO Gina Cocking provided the cover article in the January/February 2022 edition of Agent Entrepreneur magazine, The Industry’s Leading Source for Automotive Agents. 

Gina’s article was titled 2022 M&A Predictions for F&I Agents. In this article, she covered the challenging competitive dynamics for independent agencies, described the private equity buy-and-build strategy, and emphasized the importance of deal timing. 

Gina also talked about the Great Resignation’s impact on M&A, which we cover in more detail in this post.

Gina concluded that M&A in the F&I sector will continue into the foreseeable future because private-equity firms have record levels of dry powder, and add-on Acquisitions will be utilized to bolster existing platform Investments.
